Couch reshapes familiar pop tropes in fresh ways. Scattered across the country, Couch tackled the challenges of being a “long-distance” band, writing & recording virtually for the past 3 years. Despite these challenges, the band celebrated the release of their debut EP, “COUCH,” in Feb 2021. Injecting each track with their signature flavor: expressive horns, warm vocals,& bubbling synths — Couch crafts an oasis of joy for musicians & non-musicians alike.
Born and bread in Boston MA, Fia James has had a love & drive to create music since her early teenage years. He describes his music as “music that makes you feel something, with a strong country message.” This original style is depicted in both of his albums.
Boston-based alt-indie rocker Steve Rondo has gigged around New England for the past 4 years. He writes reflective lyrics contemplating the theme of a typical kid coming of age in the city. There is nature inspired imagery riddled throughout Steve’s songs as evidence of his adolescence spent growing up in the New England sea, mountains, and forests. Since his first release in late 2018, independent NYC based singer-songwriter Vincent Lima has been using his passionate emotive voice to touch on his personal experiences overcoming loss, falling in love and learning to embrace the inevitable changes that come with growing up. Born in Texas, First Lieutenant Maggie Alexander is frequently on the move and has worked as an ER nurse for the last five years. Classically trained, music has played a significant role in her life from an early age and remains her biggest passion. She is now stationed in Korea as an Army nurse.

Sunsetta is an alternative indie pop band who has made a splash in the Boston DIY scene since their inception at Emerson College in 2019. Combining their various lived experiences, Sunsetta’s debut EP “Green Line to Harvard Ave'' proves that they don’t pull from any one box, so they can’t be thrown into one either. Originally from New Haven, Conneticut, Tom Hanraty moved to Massachusetts in 1975 to take part in the then thriving blues scene in Boston. He has been singing & playing the blues for over 50 years. On a beautiful day, Tom can be found busking outdoors or competing with the trains in the Boston/Cambridge subway tunnels. Jacqui is currently a scientist at Harvard & MIT, and is soon to begin her MD-PhD training in an efforts to become a Physician-Scientist. At a young age, Jacqui found music. Either, with her hands on the strings of a guitar, bass, or the ivory keys of keyboard, Jacqui will always & forever consider music as her first love.
